Attila Veress, born in Transylvania in March 1990 and raised in the United Arab Emirates, graduated in the Industrial Design course at the European Institute of Design (Milan) in 2011. His thesis was awarded with an Honorable Mention at the XXIII Compasso d 'Oro (Targa Giovani). After this experience, he continued his university career and graduated in the Strategic Design Master at the IED in 2012. He is currently design consultant for different international brands, dividing himself between product and strategic design. In 2012 Veress began a consolidated collaboration with starred chef Davide Oldani. Oldani, creator of pop cuisine - high quality and accessibility - opened his restaurant, the D'O, in 2003 in Cornaredo, in the province of Milan, his country of origin. After a year of activity, the most authoritative gastronomic guides count him among the great chefs of Italian cuisine. His activity as a designer, born from the daily observation of the guest, mirrors that of a cook: tables, chairs, plates, cutlery and glasses are inspired by POP: simple, functional, elegant.
