Marialaura Rossiello Irvine - Maddalena Casadei
Born at the foot of Vesuvius, Marialaura Rossiello graduated in Architecture in Naples with Riccardo Dalisi. From design poetry and tradition to history, in 2000 he was catapulted into the Italian design capital for a master's degree at the Polytechnic in Strategic Design. Concreteness becomes a challenge; communication marketing, strategy, become constant words. After years of collaboration with Italian design brands in which he trains in considering the product within a structured business process, he enters the British world on tiptoe, thanks to the meeting with the future husband James Irvine. In 2011 he became partner of the studio, a place where the industrial product is the beating heart of the project. After the sudden death of James in 2013, the thirty-year history of the studio evolves into a new phase in which the three constant words are precision, irony and generosity. Precision in design, irony in communication, generosity in artistic directions. Studio Irvine, today like yesterday, is always ready for new challenges, working with clients such as Muji, Offecct, Amorim, Phaidon. Born in Forlì. He graduated in Architecture at the University of Ferrara and MA in design at the Domus Academy. After working for many years with James Irvine, giving broad international exposure to his knowledge and vision from January 2014 to April 2017 he continues the study together with Marialaura Rossiello Irvine under the name of Studio Irvine. Since May 2017 he has been working on his own. It has a design approach linked to continuous personal exchange with the client, the technicians, etc. He deals with product, fittings and art direction.
