Massimiliano Settimelli
Arch. Massimiliano Settimelli, born in 1972, graduated in Architecture in Florence. Since 2001 he has worked as an architect and designer with projects ranging from private and public construction to industrial design. He collaborates with companies such as: Webert Faucets, Colombo Design, Tender Rain Stilhaus, Italtrade, Apuana Corporate, Officinanove, Slide Design, Qsquared, Pezzani. In 2002 he won the European Competition "GLASSHOUSE EUROPEAN COMPETITION" with the project of a glass house. The project will be published in the major international journals in the sector. In 2006, after being awarded for the "FIRST TAP INDUSTRIAL DESIGN CONTEST" competition by the Webert Rubinetteria in Novara, he began a collaboration from which various collections of taps and bathroom accessories will take shape. For Webert he will also take care of the stand fittings at the most important trade fairs in the sector. In 2011, the American magazine Interior Design inserts Webert's tap Wolo in the catalog BEST OF YEAR - ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN 2011, one of the best products of the year in the bathroom industry. In 2011 he began working with the company COLOMBO DESIGN, for which he designed various collections of handles, including the ELECTRA handle. In 2011 he began working with the Stilhaus company for which he designed various bathroom accessories collections and will take care of the stands at major industry fairs. In 2012 the aria tap by Webert won the RED DOT AWARD 2012 award. In 2012 he became Associate Architect of the LDA.IMDA studio and took on the role of Head of the Design sector. In 2016 he began working with Tender Rain for which he designed the PETALO shower head in stainless steel. His projects have been published in the major magazines of the sector, including INTERNI, DOMUS, Il BAGNO, MARIE CLAIRE Maison, ELLE DECOR. For the magazine BAGNO DESIGN has signed the covers of two issues of the magazine.
