Born in 1970 in Brussels (Belgium), after studying Political Science and Marketing Management, Alain Gilles embarked on a career in the financial world. But, since we only live once, he later decided, thanks to his wife's moral support, to study industrial design in France. In order to pursue his dreams and develop an individual approach to design, art direction and interior architecture, in 2007 he founded his own study. Since then, he has collaborated with many international brands, including Qui est Paul?, Galerie Gosserez, Magnitude, O'Sun, Buzzispace, Casamania and Bonaldo. Among the awards that many of his products have won are Henry Van De Velde Label, Design for Asia Golden Award, and Good Design Award. In 2012 Alain Gilles was named “Designer of the Year” during the prestigious Interieur fair in Courtrai.
